  1. Inkling! Here’s what a friend and myself had to say about it :

    ME : want.

FRIEND : Haha I’m not even sure how useful this is. Only issue is the pen and the scanner(?) have batteries. Oh and the pen requires ink cartridges.

ME : Yeah, that does seem like outdated extra baggage, but if this is a new technology, I guess it makes sense that it’s not 100% streamlined [yet]. I like the idea of having functional vector graphics at your fingertips . I draw on paper, scan it, and then PictureFrame and trace the image in Rhinoceros (the archie in me) and it can take me hours … which I don’t really mind, now that I think about it, but that means I associate vector graphics with the final project instead of using them as a moldable part of the drawing process.

ME : Plus, I need the feel of a pencil/pen/marker on paper. Something like this would be a little too much of a stretch for me : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4-Y2WYUF2Y

FRIEND : This is closer to what it’s going to be, except with tablets instead of goofy looking laptops/netbooks.
